     Ok, so here we are REMBRANCE DAY   Nov  11, 2008   and  the world  is  sliding into a Depression to rival that  of the  1930's                  And  that  depression spawned WW11.                  And  now  we see nations "beggaring their neighbours" and  trying to save their industries, by repeated injections of newly printed paper  money,  that  in effect  make  matters worse by postponing the inevitable day of reckoning!       The  'blame game'  is  being  played  with  the USA  being  fingered  as  the  main culprit as  the cause of the  misery(and to a considerable degree this is correct the USA  having flooded the world with newly printed paper GREENBACKS with no worth).              

   Canada  has been no shining angel and indeed most countries seeing the USA  financing it's wars, not by taxes, but by using the  printing  press, started to play the same  game.             A hundred excuses were passed off as REASONS why this  had to be  done.                     Save  jobs,  increase liquidity, encourage industry, reassure investors and depositors etc..                      Governments like the ABILITY TO JUST  PRINT MONEY.     Why?    It's easy to  balance the  books  and  hide deficit  budgeting,  and inflation steals, purloins and  pilfers, wealth from citizens savings and  transfers that  wealth directly  into OTTAWA's COFFERS.      

 So what is  next?      The TSE  index at  or  below  4000,   unemployment at  3000000 in Canada, destitution and deprivation all round, for at least (the Biblical) seven lean years.            Under these conditions the powers that be are in a way encouraged to promote phoney PATRIOTISM (JINGOISM?)  by focussing the proletariat  on the outside enemy who  has done this to them.                You see it in CNN today,  Commentators inveigh about Mexican Immigrant workers   instead of criticizing the Adiministration and White House.    WAR is  the end of that route.     The  real problem must  be tackled face on.                        

So what is the REAL CAUSE of  today's  woes?                              World wide debasement of virtually all circulating  currencies.           How  can a  rational decision be  made  if  Governments  'whimsically'  alter the value  of their  currencies ...pushing it down by flooding the  market  or a  few  days later  buying it back ( with gold) to raise it's  value.                 The end of all this collapse of confidence  in the value of money,  is  international   and  domestic barter,  which Governments  hate  because taxes get  ignored!                    

OK SO WHAT'S MY ANSWER?                    Gold must back each and every piece of Financial Paper  and  circulating currency.       AND  THAT AMOUNT OF GOLD  MUST BE REDEEMABLE  ON DEMAND!        This  is  the  only way to return sanity, reason, logic, and  confidence  to the  markets  both at  home  here in CANADA  and  ABROAD!!

Thousands are losing their jobs at Merck. Thousands more are being cut at Xerox, Yahoo, Chrysler and General Motors.

Those companies were in the news just this week, and they weren't alone. Corporate America is now following the lead of Wall Street, where tens of thousands have lost jobs, many of which will never return.

It is  only a  short  time  until CANADA  has  unemployment  at about  3,000,000..................

There is only  one way  out..............A RETURN TO THE  GOLD  STANDARD..........................

A PIECE OF  GOLD  BEHIND EVERY PICE OF "PAPER"(currency)  issued  by Governments

and  circulated  as  as  currency with  intrinsic  value, is  the  only way  to stabilise  this

economic  turmail.        GOLD  WILL PROMOTE  'CONFIDENCE'.
